Edit your Microsoft Office documents with New Dropbox for mobile App

MS-Dropbox-main

Following the recent partnership between Microsoft and Dropbox, a new “edit” feature has been added to Dropbox for mobile which enables mobile Office users to edit and save Microsoft Office documents instantly from any mobile device.

All existing Dropbox and Microsoft Office users can access this facility by simply downloading the latest Dropbox App update and may edit any documents that are already stored in their Dropbox folders.

A decidedly resourceful tool for concluding last-minute documents, the new Version of the App allows users to save changes to documents without even leaving the Microsoft Office app.  Any amendments are automatically synced across all devices so that users can access the edited version from anywhere.

Dropbox has also added a “share” feature which allows users to send colleagues or friends a link to the edited file on Dropbox, giving assurance that everyone is always on the same page.

With this adventurous union, the dynamic duo, aim’s  to reward both Microsoft and Dropbox users with increased mobile flexibility and the ability to perform basic editing tasks on the mobile app for free, without acquiring an office 365 subscription (which was previously the case).

Whether you are an existing mobile Microsoft Office user or you would like to be, you can start using this new feature now with step by step instructions outlines below.
